This project involves the installation of a complete building envelope system for The Interchange, one of Lusso Contracting’s major façade projects in Halifax.

Building Envelope Scope
Installation of 3M air and waterproofing membrane

Complete design, supply, fabrication, and installation of ACM cladding
Installation of AluBond FR A2 4mm aluminum composite panels
Installation of custom-fabricated PolyWhite and Graphite Black ACM panels
Installation of architectural Tempio porcelain tile cladding
Custom fabrication of panels, flashings, trims, corners, and architectural details
Coordination of complex façade transitions, openings, penetrations, and building interfaces

Project Technical Highlights
Custom ACM design, layout, fabrication, and execution!
Watertight application with a continuous air and vapour barrier extending seamlessly from walls to windows and soffits, with no penetrations, gaps, or omissions. Continuity matters!
Continuous Façade Alignment. The façade was meticulously laid out to maintain perfectly straight and continuous spline lines around the entire building. Vertical panel joints are precisely aligned across elevations and carried seamlessly into the soffits, creating strong architectural continuity and a clean, highly refined appearance.
Large-Scale Façade Execution
A highly coordinated installation involving extensive field measurement, fabrication sequencing, material logistics, access planning, and installation across multiple elevations.
