Project Overview
Osprey Village is a development by FH Development Group featuring a complete building-envelope and exterior cladding package delivered by Lusso Contracting.
The project combines high-performance weather protection with a modern architectural façade, integrating multiple exterior systems and finishes into one coordinated building envelope.
Lusso completed the waterproofing, air and moisture barrier, and exterior cladding scope, creating a durable façade designed for long-term performance in Nova Scotia’s demanding climate.
Building Envelope Scope
Installation of WrapShield IT air and moisture barrier system
Installation of 3M waterproofing systems
Detailed waterproofing around openings, penetrations, transitions, and exterior building interfaces
Coordination of air barrier, waterproofing, and cladding assemblies to maintain continuity throughout the building envelope
Integration of exterior wall components with windows, doors, soffits, and architectural transitions
Cladding Scope
Installation of MAC Metals Harrywood+ architectural metal cladding
Installation of blue metal board-and-batten cladding
Installation of custom flashings, trims, corners, returns, and architectural details
Coordination of contrasting cladding profiles, colours, and façade transitions
Detailed installation to maintain consistent lines, spacing, and architectural alignment throughout the exterior
Architectural Façade
The façade combines the warm, natural appearance of MAC Metals Harrywood+ with contrasting blue board-and-batten metal cladding, creating a distinctive and contemporary exterior.
The combination of materials provides architectural depth and visual contrast while maintaining the durability and low-maintenance performance of a modern metal cladding system.
High-Performance Envelope
